You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

GDPR

On 25th May 2018 the EU's GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) came into effect. This gives you the following rights:

The Right to Access

If you have created an account on our website you can access the data held by logging into your account. You can request to see the information at any time.  Customers who checkout using Guest Checkout will not be able to access data via an account but can still request details of the data we store within any orders placed.

The Right to Rectification

Customers with an account can change any information stored within the Personal Information section of their account.  If you change any personal information within your account, data stored within previously placed orders will remain unchanged.  This can be changed, upon request, for all customers even if they checked out as a Guest.

The Right to be Forgotten

Under the new rules everyone has the right to be forgotten on websites.

Subscribers to our email newsletters can click on the Unsubscribe link that is automatically added to all email newsletters at any time.  Your email address is automatically and immediately removed.  Our subscriber list is regularly pruned to keep it up to date.

If you contact us with a request to be forgotten, we will delete your account and ensure you are no longer subscribed to our email newsletter.  Please be aware that your details will remain on any orders previously placed with us due to HMRC regulations that require us to keep records for tax purposes for at least six years (VAT Act 1994 and HMRC Notice 700/21 October 2013). Historical orders and records older than 6 years are regularly purged.
